General Description of the Research Project | This cooperative research project aims to develop robust and high-capacity access networks for comprehensive local mobility management and pedestrian protection system, where low-budget base stations along roadsides are connected effectively by using a combination of radio and optical links. These networks also can be used for various regional information services, including telemedicine with biosensing devices. This project will focus on optical and radio technologies for communications and sensing and also on service schemes through field trials |
